Ambassadors

The IBO Mission is warmly supported by the following ambassadors:

Prof. dr. Hans Clevers is professor of molecular genetics at Utrecht University and an esteemed researcher in institutes such as the Hubrecht Institute for Developmental Biology and Stem Cell Research and the Princess Máxima Center, aimed at research for children with cancer. He is known for pioneering work in the preparation and application of organoids.

Sofie van de Waart is a specialist in gifted students. She has been working in and around education and in the media for over 15 years. First, eight years in the classroom, and later also with enrichment groups, schools for gifted students, parent guidance, and support for school teams. She became known through the documentary “Utopie van Sofie” in which she appeared as a giftedness specialist. She is also known als Juf Sofie.

“I consider it an honor to be involved with an organization that gives students the opportunity to fully utilize and challenge their talents—something that, unfortunately, is not a given for many gifted students in education.”
